Extra Baggage

I was at Chennai Airport.

I was nearing to the counter to check-in my baggage. There was not much rush in the web check-in counter. Just in front of me, a lady from another country (may be from Africa) was standing...

I proceeded to counter when it was my turn.

The lady was waving her hand to the assistant at counter. I just watched her face and saw strange expression of emotions on that. The assistant at counter (X) was also responding to that lady.

I said "Hi. I've done web check-in but have baggage to put in". Still X was looking at that lady.

I nodded with a smile "Hiii"

X said "Sorry sir. I'll do the needful in a minute."

I just saw that eyes X were filled. I asked in low voice "Any problem... that I can help??!!"

X "Actually we should not share, but I could not stop my feelings."

X continued "When the lady before u came, I told her that She is having extra baggage than the allowed limit.. And the lady's reply shocked me"

I asked "What she replied ?!!"

X "The lady said, 'I know dear, those extra baggage are of my Husband's. We were together while coming, but unfortunately I lost him...., He is No More..... Those are his memories with me in earth... Can I carry them?' "

I was also moved. We both were looking at that lady moving ahead...!!!
